Curled Pondweed (Potamogeton crispus) Native. Oxygenator

Curled Pondweed (Potamogeton crispus) Native. Oxygenator

  • Curled Pondweed (Potamogeton crispus) is a native, oxygenating, pond plant. Wavy-edged, strap-like leaves grow on long, wiry stems and it looks like a small version of seaweed. The leaves are red in sunlight  but tend to stay green in poorer light conditions. In  early summer, small, pinky-white flowers are produced and are held just above the water. Grows naturally in lakes, ponds, slow moving streams and canals.
  • A good choice for the smaller pond, as this plant does not become invasive.
  • Supplied in weighted bunches – just drop into your pond.
