Cyperus Sedge (Carex Pseudocyperus)

Cyperus Sedge (Carex Pseudocyperus) is a native marginal pond plant (shallow water plant). It forms dense evergreen clumps with long arching stems terminating in drooping yellow/green flowers and bright green foliage.  This plant is very popular with gardeners and landscapers to create areas that promote wildlife.  This plant provides a perfect habitat offering cover for emerging wildlife.  It is suitable for planting in the margins of any size pond or in boggy areas.  It is also a wonderful plant for placing around lakes, streams river banks and wetland areas.

  • Grow the shallow margins of the pond or in moist or wet soil.
  • Height 90cm ( 35in )
  • Planting depth 0cm to 15cm ( 0in to 6in )
  • Easy to maintain by cutting back in the Autumn after flowering.
