Odorata WB Shaw water lily
Odorata WB Shaw water lily (Nymphaea WB Shaw) This beautiful lily has lovely shaped pink flowers up to 6ins (15cm) across and foliage to 23cm. We would recommend this lily for medium to large size ponds or several grouped in lakes. Provides good cover for emerging aquatic wildlife and cover/shade during the summer months as well as being stunning to look at.
- Planting depth 30-60cms (12-24in) of water above soil level
- Spread 40ins/100cms
- Position in full sun in still water.
- Flowers from June to September, opening during the day with the sun and closing at night.
- Remove old foliage as plant goes dormant during the winter but is fully hardy and can be planted at any time or year when dormant.
- We would recommend a planting basket of at least 22cm across.
- Water lilies are heavy feeders and benefit from a slow release fertilizer specially prepared for aquatic plants such as Growth Balls which can simply be directly pushed into the soil.
- We ship all lilies bareroot, this means that we wash the soil off before packing plants. During the summer months we may need to trim some of the foliage back for shipping.
