Caltha Leptosepala
Caltha Leptosepala also known as broad leafed marsh marigold or white marsh marigold. A very popular plant originating form North America. It has wonderful glossy dark green leaves with beautiful white cup shaped blooms appearing in summer with a bright yellow centre. Known to be less vigorous than a native Marsh Marigold and much slower growing preferring boggy conditions rather than being submerged in water. It is ideal for planting in bog gardens, cottage gardens, in moist beds and boarders and alongside streams and ponds. Plant in groups to create an impressive impact.

- Plant in moist damp boggy conditions and ensure that foliage does not get submerged.
- Position in full sun to partial shade.
- Can grow to 30cm in height.
- Cut back after flowering to encourage new growth.
- Easy to maintain.
- Wildlife friendly a good source of pollen.
