Fritilliary Michailovski (Fritilliaria Michailovskyi) is a spring flowering bulb. The beautiful, 2-3cm, flowers are bell shaped, purplish-brown in colour with the ends of the petals bright yellow. A most unusual and attractive colour combination. In early summer the delicate blooms, nodding in the breeze, are very pretty. It has slender stems bearing narrow, lance shaped, grey-green leaves. This variety originates from Russia.
This plant is also good for naturalizing in grass in moisture retentive soil.
