Filipendula Ulmaria Variegata is a moisture loving native upright perennial. The variegated form of the meadowsweet it has dark green leaves which are splashed with creamy yellow. With a fluffy head of cream flowers. Flowering time is from June to August. This plant is excellent for growing at the water’s side as well as in any damp to wetland area’s. It is used for wetland and damp meadow planting and can be found naturally on riverbanks. It is nectar rich making it good for dragonflies, hoverflies ladybirds & other pollinators are also encouraged by this wonderful wildflower.
