Geum coccineum ‘Koi’

Geum coccineum ‘Koi’.  will add a burst of colour to your garden.  It has lively, bright orange flowers  which rise above a compact mound of glossy, green, semi-evergreen foliage and flowers from early spring into summer. This plant is rich in nectar and will provide a good food source for bees and may other pollinators. It is  a herbaceous perennial and is suitable for growing in beds and boards, containers and rock garden’s.

  • Flowering period from May to August.
  • Likes moist, well drained soil but not waterlogged soil.
  • It will thrive best in full sun or partial shade.
  • Wildlife and pollinator friendly.
  • Easy to maintain.
  • Prune after flowering to encourage new growth the following year, it will be dormant during winter.
  • Height 30 cm ( 12 inches ) when mature.
  • spread 25 cm ( 12 inches ) when mature.
  • We ship all plants bare root, this means that we wash all the soil off before packing plants. During the summer months we may need to trim some of the foliage back for shipping.
