Geum coccineum ‘Koi’
Geum coccineum ‘Koi’. will add a burst of colour to your garden. It has lively, bright orange flowers which rise above a compact mound of glossy, green, semi-evergreen foliage and flowers from early spring into summer. This plant is rich in nectar and will provide a good food source for bees and may other pollinators. It is a herbaceous perennial and is suitable for growing in beds and boards, containers and rock garden’s.
- Flowering period from May to August.
- Likes moist, well drained soil but not waterlogged soil.
- It will thrive best in full sun or partial shade.
- Wildlife and pollinator friendly.
- Easy to maintain.
- Prune after flowering to encourage new growth the following year, it will be dormant during winter.
- Height 30 cm ( 12 inches ) when mature.
- spread 25 cm ( 12 inches ) when mature.
